Slabtown: Oral History Collection
Williamsburg and Whitley County residents recall the Roots of the African American Community through oral histories and story telling. Contact us for more information and to obtain your personal copy for a minimum $10.00 donation.
The Williamsburg Action Team celebrates Earthday !
The Earth Day Celebration is always a huge success. We have been thrilled to welcome local social justice musical artists such as, “Earth Mama” to perform at the event . Williamsburg has not typically celebrated Earth Day and we felt this was a very important event to build community interest in the organization and specifically environmental issues.
Books to Kids Project
The Books to Kids Project was a time limited program to provide books and tutoring to children and youth in Whitley County. This project completed in 2013.
